Baume & Mercier continues to offer value for money, and the Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar introduced at SIHH 2016 is a good example. This mechanical watch offers a chronograph as well as a calendar with all of the possible indications. Its look is particularly appealing as it is refined mix of classical inspiration with pure and sober lines. And the best part is you can get it for a starting price of 4,300 Swiss francs, taxes included.
The other masculine watch that caught our attention is the Capeland Shelby Cobra. This association between Baume & Mercier and the automobile marque is very positive as it was quite successful among retailers. This chronograph with its original art deco design mixed with energetic colors starts at 3,900 Swiss francs and is available only in two limited editions.
Finally, and this may be the best from Baume & Mercier at this fair, the brand introduces the Petite Promesse line. These watches are smaller with a double wrap-around strap. The metallic bracelet surprised us with its touch-and-feel quality as well as its look, which approximates snakeskin leather.
