Vacheron Constantin Presents The Revamped Overseas Collection at the 2016 SIHH
Thin, useful, solid and customizable, the new Overseas models launched by Vacheron Constantin at the 2016 SIHH are designed to be worn in any conditions. The edgy and sporty collection from the venerable geneva-based manufacture was first presented in 1996 and was easily recognizable thanks to its bezel and strap, both showing a feature: one leg of the Malta cross, the logo of the brand. This year Vacheron Constantin introduces several versions, from the simplest and thinnest ones to more complex as the Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar.
Among them stands the chronograph that integrates the new 5200 automatic winding movement that asked for 5 years of R&D. Notice that all the calibers are also certified with the Geneva seal, which ensures a superior quality in the execution of the whole watch including the movement, as well as excellent chronometric performances.
Each new model is chic and attractive because of the smart contrast existing between the purpose of the watch – being a daily companion – and a its final look and quality in the execution proving that it really question of high-end watch luxury. And Vacheron Constantin added a technical trick that makes the models even more attractive: thanks to a simple locking system, the strap, or bracelet, can be changed super easily. That is why the watches come with 3 bracelets: metal, leather and rubber.
Following the topic of traveling, Vacheron Constantin also announced a partnership with the photographer Steve McCurry that will go on during all 2016 and focused on the concept of travelling.
