L'Épée: From The Racing Track To The Sky!
After signing off on an epic deal with LVMH, L'Épée showcases two fantastic time-telling objects that will blow your mind.
First, is the T35, made by L'Épée to mark its 185th anniversary of continuous existence. The design of this new art object meticulously replicates a legendary racing machine that is considered the greatest race car of all time. The T35 launches in a limited edition of 100 pieces in each of four colours: French Racing Blue, British Racing Green, Obsidian Black, and Rosso Corsa. Plus, there's a secret feature hidden inside the engine.
The second is perhaps the most ambitious and technically audacious clock ever created by L'Épée 1839 in collaboration with MB&F. Comprising a staggering 1,520 components, Albatross features a striking hour function—chiming both the specific hours on the hour and a single strike on the half-hour—and an automaton composed of 16 pairs of propellers that launch into action every hour. Thanks to the two movements, it is possible to have the propellers turn without the hour chime, and vice versa.
Check out the two novelties and tell us what you think!
