Geneva Watch Days 2023: MB&F

MB&F has once again proved that everything you can imagine is real, and presented the mechanical marvel in a super complicated case. 

This HM9 Sapphire Vision is inspired by the aesthetics of the 40s and 50s but has an engine from the XXI century. The futuristic case, made of sapphire glass, adds to a crazy steam-punk-ish vibe. When you first encounter this model, you can think of "Nautilus", the legendary submarine from Captain Nemo's stories. 

On a technical side, its dimensions are 57 x 47 x 23 mm. The sapphire glass case is water-resistant up to 30 meters and decorated with white gold or red gold. Inside there's a manual-winding in-house movement with two fully independent balance wheels with planetary differential and dual spherical propellers under the balance wheel.
