Unboxing: Ressence Type 2

We had the great pleasure of hosting a Ressence Type 2, to be precise, the personal watch of Ressence's founder, Benoît Mintiens.

And this timepiece is definitely the result of the out of the box thinking of its creator.

Hard to believe, but this mechanical watch can be linked to your smartphone through an application. It has a mechanical movement that you wind with a special crown called e-crown at the back of the case.

The adjustments are mainly made by tapping the crystal with your finger, and the fine adjustments, such as choosing which timezone you wish to use, are made on your smartphone.

A very interesting watch and innovative way of mixing the best of mechanics with the practicality of technology.
