PRIMETIME - December 2022
Watchmaking in the News.
Hello, and welcome on WATCHES TV and welcome on Primetime - Watchmaking in the News, our final edition for this year.
Yes, time flies! And we would like to thank you all for being with us and supporting us through this year.
In this edition of PRIMETIME you will know all about Rolex and its gigantic plans for soft and hard expansion on the market, you will hear the preliminary forecasts on the e-commerce and the secondary watch market for the coming years, and we calculate the total price of all watches exported by Switzerland in the first 10 months of this year.
There will be some special surprises for those who want to hear about the novelties, including close-ups of very recent wristwatch models from AP, MB&F, Behrens, and A.Lange & Sohne, as well as clocks and timekeepers from Around Five and CODE41.
So you will know what presents to ask for or to give because we made a kind of Christmas edition of PRIMETIME to make us all merry and full of joy during this coming festive season.
And we would like to note, that since our November show, we did post a few other reports such as the recap of the Singapore Watch Fair and a full debrief on the results of the GPHG, which was the new format for us, but we hope you liked it.
Another recap was on the latest important watch auctions, plus a nice report regarding some other lots recently put on auction by Ineichen with some really cool timepieces. Speaking of auctions, we also published one of those long interviews you particularly appreciate and we like doing with Mr. Osvaldo Patrizzi, co-founder of Antiquorum, a man who played a significant role in making what the auction world has become.
And finally, we also talked about the surprising evolution of Chinese watchmaking.
So, if you haven’t seen them yet I highly recommend you check the various links below.
N.B.: this show is available as a podcast, and you can find it on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
