Unboxing the Akrivia AK-06 and its cool reset to zero function
And for today's birthday, I got a pretty sweet watch to unbox from our good neighbour here in the Old Town of Geneva, Akrivia. This watch may seem like a simple 3-hander, but in fact it has a very cool and useful technical feature.
We have often seen stop second watches, meaning that the second hand indeed stops when you pull the crown, but here the thing special is that the second hand will automatically reset to zero while doing so. This technical feat is on top of it clearly visible on the dial side, as all the components required to achieve this are actually there for you to enjoy.
This AK-06 was the first non tourbillon watch of the young and fresh brand founded by talented watchmaker Rexhep Rexhepi and we are for sure looking forward doing some additional video on him and his team.
