Bell & Ross New Watches at Baselworld 2016
The usual territory of expression of Bell & Ross is aviation. Over the years, they used us of having the full cockpit on your wrist, but this year they went farther in space for their new creations, as well as back on earth with a super-car inspired watch.
As we have seen with some other brands recently, Bell & Ross also went the sapphire route with the presentation of the astonishing BR-X1 Tourbillon Sapphire. This timepiece holds a modified version of their tourbillon chronograph movement seen last year, as they skelotonized and moved a few elements it in order to play as much as possible with the transparencies and will be limited to 8 timepieces.
We also saw the BR-X1 Hyperstellar, an evolution of a watch presented last year, but this time they used more aerospace oriented materials and colours. For ladies and also with a reminder of space, we were introduced to the BRS Diamond Eagle with a diamond version of the Aquila constellation on a deep blue dial.
And finally and back on the ground, Bell & Ross presented us the result of an in-house creation process with the design of their very own interpretation of a super-car, the Bell & Ross AeroGT, a really cool looking concept car. And it is from that car that they started to design the watch that would go with it, the BR03 AeroGT.
