Dominique Renaud, A Master Watchmaker Thinking Out Of The Box
Dominique Renaud is an inventive and highly skilled watchmaker who came back to Switzerland after a few years spent in the south of France to present a very promising and possibly revolutionary invention. Before leaving, he was part of the Audemars Piguet Renaud & Papi team that he co-founded with Giulio Papi and Christophe Claret in the 1980s. Dominique Renaud was part of a group of famous and respected watchmakers whose names now grace horological history books -- watchmakers like Carole Forestier, now head of movement development at Cartier, and Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, head of their own eponymous brand. Before introducing this new invention on the 9th of March, let's flash back and explore Dominique Renaud's history to understand a bit better who he really is.
