Rebellion Goes Racing At The 24h Le Mans 2015
Rebellion Timepieces is not just a name on a car, it’s the sister company of the watch brand and they are very serious when it comes to racing at a very high level. For the mythical 24H Le Mans race, Rebellion came with two brand new cars in the most prestigious LMP1 category, the category where you will find the likes of Porsche, Audi and Toyota.
On an endurance race such as Le Mans, going fast is good and necessary but the key is to finish and these machines put up with some significant strain over the course of these 24 hours. But end result was there for both cars, simply finishing 1st and 2nd in the “private ownership” category!!! Congratulations to the team, who by the way also won the prize for “Best Mechanical Support Team”, just another example that when it comes to mechanics Rebellion know their stuff. And yes, they naturally took this occasion to launch a limited edition of its Predator mode, the R1, and guess the number of watches produced? 24 of course!
