La Montre Hermès’ New CEO Laurent Dordet Shares His View

La Montre Hermès' watch division has been run since March 1, 2015 by Laurent Dordet, the new general director. Dordet's previous responsibilities in the Hermès group included heading up the leather division. We asked him about his priorities, which include reinforcing and developing La Montre Hermès in the vein of its history. Hermès has included wristwatches among its offerings for more than 80 years now, with the watch division created in 1978 in Switzerland. Dordet also wants to improve the perception of the brand with regard to the two pillars that drive each and every one of the maison's divisions: know-how and creativity.
