New Watches from Independent Brands in January 2015
The SIHH high-end watch fair remains the main place in January to discover stunning and luxurious new watches. Although not all brands are exhibiting at this exclusive event, organized by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie. Many present their new products in hotels and show rooms in the center of Geneva. Most of them are independent brands who show a lot of audacity and creativity. We selected a few models that really caught our eyes. First of all, we must say that we really liked the new Skull from HYT, which looks like an alien if you turn it upside down; or the Aventicum from Christophe Claret whose hologram shapes into the bust of a roman emperor and still remains a watch; the chic zodiacal watch from De Bethune with a dead beat second and a chronograph; and last but not least, Urwerk's new watch called the Eastwood for its strap is made out of english tweed!
