New timepieces by Richard Mille at the 2015 SIHH
At last year's SIHH, Richard Mille accustomed us to an avalanche of novelties that reflected the incredible creativeness and ability of the brand to come up with outstanding technical timepieces.
This year, they decided to downsize the numbers of timepieces presented, nonetheless, we were once more flabbergasted by what we saw! Richard Mille focused its novelties on ladies watches. The brand set the bar real high by having presented the RM029-02 Magnolia; a magnificent gem set watch that holds the first flying tourbillon of the brand. But that wasn't enough. They managed to make the magnolia petals retract themselves back and forth every five minutes to uncover the tourbillon cage. Furthermore, the automata mechanism doesn’t stop there as the tourbillon raises itself up to 1mm when the petals unfold!!! The latter will probably allow for other iterations of automates to be created by Richard Mille in the future.
