Greubel Forsey explores a new avenue with inclined balance wheels

Experimental watch technology (EWT) is the in-house R&D laboratory where Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey explore new avenues in chronometry. Letting the tourbillon aside this time, they developed a concept of a double escapement with inclined balance wheels. Two watches - in a limited edition of 6 pieces each - came out from this idea. The first one, named Double balanciers inclinés, has the two fixed escapements on upon the other. The second version, The "Double balancier 35°" show them separated and with a new inclination.
