Introducing Ferdinand Berthoud FB 2RE
Today we have the pleasure of going behind the scene of the new FB2 by Ferdinand Berthoud, a timepiece selected in the final round of the 2020 GPHG in the chronometry category and you will rapidly understand why in this video. For instance and for the very first time in a timepiece you will find the combination of a "fusée chaine" mechanism and a "remontoir d’égalité” resulting in surprising performances, but the path to achieve this was obviously a complicated one.
FP Journe & The 20th Anniversary of the Chronomètre à Résonance

We were indeed fortunate to get our hands on many early models, including the original prototype movement but also the very first model, and I have to say that this was quite a privilege to see and even manipulate so many Résonance at once!!
Introducing: MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual EVO
The Legacy Machine Perpetual is definitely part of my holy grail club of watches, but the brand has now come up with an evolution version with the clear intention of making it a more "daily wearable" timepiece, for instance water-resistant to 80 meters.
The LMP Evo comes in three colours, each limited to 15 pieces, and you will find out in our video report what motivated them in developing this new version.
MB&F - LM Timepieces by Eddy Jaquet
MB&F just released a series of 8 timepieces taking the Legacy Machine Split Escapement as the vehicle for Mr Eddy Jaquet to express his mastery of the art of engraving. He not only spent more than 3 months to engrave each dial of these watches, but he also came with the design ideas after having read almost every single book written by Jules Verne.
Hermès Horloger Introduces its New Timepieces of 2020
Last year was an important stepping stone for Hermès with L'Heure de la Lune which definitely put the brand in the league of the big player in terms of high-end watchmaking. This timepiece came in two versions, both limited to 100 pieces and they are now adding very limited edition versions with some extremely rare lunar and martian meteorite dials.
UNBOXING - Grand Seiko Professional Diver's 600M
We're returning for some proper UNBOXING, but this time we have a little surprise as we will develop with our good friend Peter Speake on the characteristics of the very clever Spring Drive movement.
The timepiece featured in this video is the limited edition to 700 pieces of the Professional Diver's 600M in which is encased the very latest version of this movement called the Calibre 9AR5. It's thinner, holds more power reserve and is more accurate, as simple as that and is part of the brand's 60th Anniversary series of new watches.

Bvlgari Presents its Latest Timepieces
Today we are talking with Bulgari’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin on the latest timepieces introduced by the brand, including yet another record for the thinnest automatic tourbillon chronograph in the Octo collection, but also a new Gerald Genta bi-retrograde watch, as well as the re-introduction of the Aluminium collection. This last one being a pretty smart move and will make the brand available to a much wider consumer group.

De Bethune DB28 Steel Wheels Sapphire Tourbillon
Always a pleasure to discover a new De Bethune timepiece especially when it is presented to us by our good friend and creator Dennis Flageollet who explains the intricacy of this new DB28.
The addition of this delicate blue transparent sapphire arch does indeed bring something original to this watch featuring their famous tourbillon movement, but it was hard to achieve!

During the Geneva Watch Days, we got to meet MB&F and L'Epée's new creative take with yet another super original table clock called TriPod.
Time is displayed on two horizontal concentric dials turning on themselves in 36 hours, but the most intriguing feature lies on the fact that you actually read the time by looking through three glass balls.

Their core business over the last 150 years has been producing music boxes and when said like this, I can totally imagine what is going through your minds, but in fact there are a lot of parallels between watchmaking and what Reuge is doing.

We had the pleasure of meeting in Geneva our good friend Christian Selmoni of Vacheron Constantin who talked to us about the main new timepiece presented by the historic brand with the introduction of a very well executed skeletonized version of the Overseas Extra-thin Perpetual Calendar.. This one comes in a classy 41.5mm rose gold case and matching bracelet, a bracelet you can now also find on the blue dialled version introduced last year.
