Interview with Mr Georges Dubois.

An amazing story of Mr Georges Dubois, a 100 years old watchmaker, or even better a 100 and a half years old watchmaker.

After a certain stage you start counting half years again. We had a very lovely time with him and his very positive attitude, certainly one of his traits which helped him since his birth in 1921.

He dedicated part of his life to watchmaking and has been retired for 35 years. It was in 1941, having completed his watchmaking school that he started to work for Rolex, where the total number of watchmakers at the time was 17.

He shares with us some great memories of Rolex, including his encounter with Mr Hans Wilsdorf.

After a few years at Rolex and a time of self-employment, he joined Patek Philippe for more than three decades. He was closely involved in the launch of the first Patek Philippe Solar Dome Clocks in the late 1950’s.

We hope you enjoy this video and wish you a life as long and healthy as Mr Georges Dubois'. VIVA WATCHMAKING!
