After years of development, Bovet 1822 presented us some pretty exciting novelties during the Geneva watch week!

First of all, they introduced more exclusive versions of its latest 19thirty collection, the first steel watch of the brand launched in September of last year, by adding a pink gold version, which can be gem set, an option also now available for its steel version.

Bovet 1822 also showed us the Virtuoso VII, a watch that is a serious evolution of it Virtuoso II and bears a very original perpetual calendar with all indications spreading from its center.

But let's now go over the two majors announcements and let's start with the introduction of the Récital 18, the Shooting Star, a watch that is true to its name since you definitely has a bit of cosmos on board. This watch necessitated 5 years of development, holds a beautiful flying tourbillon, but the main attraction is its Universal time function with a super intricate mechanism enabling you to choose the timezone with a cylinder system and an extraordinary view of the time reflected above the earth’s surface. The Récital 18 is limited to 50 timepieces in 2016 and is encased in a very distinctive and unusual asymmetrical case, both in with and pink gold.

And finally let’s go over the OttantaSei, a watch marking the strong partnership between the brand and famous Italian design studio Pininfarina. This collaboration brought up a serious touch of contemporary design with this 10-days power reserve tourbillon timepiece, which is limited to 86 in each of its finishing; titanium, titanium DLC and pink gold. And 86 because it’s Pininfarina’s 86 birthday this year!
