Focus on the DBS Tourbillon by De Bethune

The DBS Tourbillon by De Bethune was launched in 2005 for the Only Watch auction. At this time, the model was already breathtaking with its silicon/titanium high-speed tourbillon beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. At the time if its launch, the then three-year-young independent brand had already attained 10 patents and managed to introduce a disruptive and perfectly mastered new kind of design.

Ten years later, Denis Flageollet, co-founder and master watchmaker, and David Zanetta, co-founder in charge of creation, created a renewed version of the DBS Tourbillon, including a one-of-a-kind piece once again for the Only Watch auction. We had the opportunity to film the white gold version in detail, thereby taking the time to understand it better. And again, the credo of De Bethune expresses itself with mastery: this watch looks like no other but contains plenty of tribute to the past as well as suggestions on what the future of fine watchmaking could be.
